"... [S]he might yet be able to help him to the building of the rainbow bridge that should connect the prose in us with the passion...."

Welcome!

Greetings, visitor, and welcome to Prose And Passion, the TFL.org-approved fanlisting for E.M. Forster's classic novel Howards End. A commentary on English social strata as well as a compelling drama, Howards End tells the tale of three families — the rich yet philistine Wilcoxes, the well-educated and middle-class Schlegel sisters, and the Basts, who teeter on the edge of poverty and ruin. Over the years, these families come together and separate, and each meeting has greater consequences, driving them all towards their intertwined fates.
